DISTILLATO DI OLIVELLO SPINOSO

It’s a bush present in the entire European alpine area, from the Balkans to Asia. The story has it that a long time ago, from the sixties and seventies, it was secretly used by Russian cosmonauts because it contained 70 times the vitamin C content of orange juice. Its yellow-to-orange fruits hang in a curious manner from its branches, without stems or peduncles, and the harvest happens with special methods. Prestigious juices are produced from the sea buckthorn, and even its peel gets dried to make herbal teas. It’s easy to catch the characteristics of the original fruit in our distillates, with citrus, apricot and aromatic herb flavours. In the mouth, it’s an explosion of delicate spices, walnut husk, fennel and a finishing touch of milk chocolate.
